Someone asked us what was important to our neighbors. Holly observed that the neighbors really value how the grass looks in front of the house–theirs and ours. (Right now ours looks pretty good though there’s always room for improvement. )
My thinking is, I need to remove the barriers to friendships. (good grass is relatively easy) Then I need to work on building friendships with the people around me.
I would be willing to bet that some neighbors won’t like me when they find out what I am like. But some will! We moved away from some really nice neighbors. One family was there the entire 18 years we were there.

I hope they do like us though. At least most of them. I also hope that we meet some kids in our neighborhood
