28 Trained–only 2400 to Go

At the end of January, 3 of my teammates Mark, Kay and Karin traveled to Ghana and Kenya to “train the trainers” in the launch of a mobile phone-based Bible leadership project. The team trained 28 church leaders from 10 African countries!

The leaders from West Africa are pictured below, proudly holding certificates of achievement. (Not pictured are the ones trained in Eastern Africa.)
They mastered the skills needed to administrate the leadership courses. In the next several months, these men will register hundreds of African students.The faith goal is to train 2400 lay pastors in the Sahara Belt of Africa.
