In order to serve the Body of Christ better, and to accelerate the Great Commission, the ministry decided to combine 2 IT (computer) departments into one. Ours, formerly called Global Technology Office (GTO) is being absorbed into a much larger IT department.
I won’t describe all my feelings here, but one is sadness. I have worked with the same group for over 20 years. We were a family in a lot of ways. We celebrated successes together. We got mad at each other. We went through changes together. Now about 20 of us in GTO are going through one more big change where we are probably being scattered across the globe instead of working from one spot in Orlando, FL.
I have some ideas what I want to do next in Campus Crusade for Christ. In a way, I am looking forward to it. Thanks for your prayers as my 20 friends and myself find new places to minister in our worldwide organization.
