David’s new Team

In October I joined the “Product Team” which is a new team in the restructured IT department at Cru’s headquarters.

This is a great group. I have not worked with any of them before except Russ Martin (with white shirt). We are meeting to learn about the team’s goals and what strengths we bring to the team. I am impressed.

We are assessing almost all of the digital tools that Cru builds for web and mobile platforms to help steer them toward better use by Christian workers. Some of these tools are meant to be “given away” to Christian workers outside of the ministry.

Our group will be working with other groups in the IT department. Many of my former co-workers in the Global Technology Office are in these other groups. I think God placed us strategically so we could use our influence and experience well.
