Back to School, but Different This Time

Rebekah and Julia headed to college last weekend. Holly and I are so excited they are in college, and at the same school (University of Florida).

At the same time, they are not with us. We are empty-nesters now.  That will be really enjoyable soon, but right now it is difficult. It is almost like we are grieving.

The first day we talked to Rebekah and Julia several times. The next day, not quite so often. The next day less, etc. They are learning where everything is, learning to live in a new environment, and making friends. They do not live together but will probably see each other often, since they share a car!

If you have children in college, you can probably relate to our situation. Thanks for praying for us.
