In March, in cooperation with several “anchor churches”, Cru launched a citywide campaign called Saturate Orlando to distribute evangelistic materials to every home in Orlando. Here is a map from the Saturate Orlando website color-coded by zipcode to show the percentage of saturation.
The materials given away included a DVD of the Jesus film in several languages and a list of participating churches in the area.
Over 500,000 bags have been hung on doors so far. We were able to participate in the tail end of the campaign last week by hanging bags on doors around the neighborhood where we work.
Please pray these materials will be read, and the interested people would find good churches to continue learning about what it means to follow Christ. Pray that many more would follow Christ as a result!
