Holly and I served behind the scenes on the Conference Team from June 10 to July 28. Until the last week, when the main Cru19 conference took place, we were able to get away on weekends to visit the mountains, etc.
Holly spent much of her time in a small room working with Kourtney Street
and the other 3 people in charge of the conference. They had lots of meetings, so Holly helped setup and take notes while they made executive decisions.
David was mostly at a table with the Tech Team. They helped solve technical problems that took several days (programming a printer, setting up internet connections) as well as quick walk-up problems that only took a few minutes.
This was our 2nd time serving on the Conference Team. It was a lot of hard work but enabled our staff to experience the ministry’s vision and motivation. It was very enjoyable as well.
