Good information will help you make better ministry decisions. But how do you start the process?
Our team, Leading With Information Center for Excellence (LWICFE), provides training to help National leaders advance their ministries. We start with a “Deep Dive”, a training process that helps teams enter data as well as interpret the results. In September, LWICFE members John W, John G, and Bayang M flew to Cameroon to train national leaders from 15 countries in Africa.
The Deep Dive process will take a year. This training plus additional trainings in November in Kenya will be face-to-face. The rest of the coaching and training will be done virtually. The 15 country leaders will train the staff in their countries serving field ministries.

We are training our field staff to enter data in a timely way and to analyze the reports regularly.
One way they can enter data is through a smartphone “Simple App”. My co-worker Andrew K wrote the code for the Simple App, and I am learning how it works so I can help update it.
After the data is sent in, the LWICFE team builds online reports for the leaders. From the reports, we are training the leaders to ask themselves 3 questions:
1) What is God doing that we can celebrate?
2) What observations or concerns do we have?
3) What action can we take?
LWICFE conducted a Deep Dive in Latin America 4 years ago. Best practices learned from that training are being applied to this Deep Dive.
